EmersonĀ G. Farrell
Founder, CEO & President
Emerson Farrell is responsible for the overall vision and strategy of FGE through the management of strategic partnerships, long-term financial planning, selection of projects and oversight of project financial planning and execution.
Before founding FGE, Emerson previously led corporate strategy and business development for the high-tech firm ZINK Imaging, managed client engagements and business development efforts with management consulting firm Silver Oak Partners, and participated in the formation of international private-public investment funds with Economic Innovation.
Mr. Farrell also serves as board director and/or senior advisor to various firms focused on clean technology, biofuels, and distributed power generation.
Mr. Farrell serves on the board of the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs (HAE) and the For A Day Foundation and received his BA from Harvard University.
Brian M. Drinkwine
Executive Vice President
Brian Drinkwine serves as Executive Vice President for FGE, where his responsibilities include enterprise-wide operations oversight, strategic planning and the development of power generation opportunities.
Prior to joining FGE, Brian served in multiple leadership positions to include strategy development for a Department of Defense sponsored research institution with specific focus on reconstruction & development, as well as leading organizations that developed multi-million dollar EPC projects in Southwest Asia.
Colonel (Retired) Drinkwine is a former Army combat arms officer with a distinguished career over 25+ years leading Airborne and Ranger units with five combat tours, to include commanding a 5,800 multi-national member Brigade Combat Task Force during the Afghanistan surge.
Mr. Drinkwine received his MBA from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia (UVA), a MPS from Auburn University of Montgomery, a MS from the U.S. Army War College and a BS with an Engineering concentration from the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point.
Elliott B. Farrell
Senior Vice President
Elliott Farrell serves as Senior Vice President of FGE where his wide scope of responsibilities include project management and project development, the management of ancillary partnerships, oversight of contract negotiations and project execution, as well as secondary support developments within the FGE portfolio.
Prior to joining FGE, Elliott was previously involved in developing marketing strategy and business development efforts at a number of alternative asset and investments managers in New York. Additional positions included a role researching the portfolio impacts of climate change regulation at a Boston based investment firm.
Mr. Farrell also serves as a consultant to a number of entrepreneurial social-technology and financial firms.
Mr. Farrell received his BA from the University of California, Berkeley where he wrote his thesis on European energy markets and the European Union.
