Emerson Garner Farrell

CEO and Founder

As CEO of FGE Power, Emerson leads the company’s overall vision through the management of strategic partnerships, selection of projects, oversight of project execution, and long-term financial planning. Inspired by his years working in Northern Ireland and his namesake, Kenneth Bishop Garner, Sr.’s, patents that enabled the creation of combustion turbines utilized in modern power plants, Emerson founded FGE Power in 2011 to accelerate the development of sustainable power generation infrastructure in North America.

Additionally, he previously led corporate strategy and business development for tech firm ZINK Imaging; managed client engagements for management consultancy Silver Oak Partners; and participated in the formation of international private-public investment funds with Economic Innovation International.

Emerson is active in a variety of philanthropic causes benefiting child welfare, animal welfare, and environmental conservation. He currently serves on the Global Advisory Council of the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs (HAE), an international non-profit.

Emerson executes venture investments across a range of industries, including quantum computing, artificial intelligence, documentary film financing, and consumer packaged goods through his family office, Bat City Acquisitions.

Mr. Farrell received his A.B. cum laude from Harvard University and began his Master of Business Administration at The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
